don’t fight battles that aren’t yours to fight

Lately I’ve been trying to fight my own battles.. But have you noticed how many times in the Bible a battle is won simply by worshiping God? We worship God and then He fights our battle for us.

“And the Lord said to Joshua, “See! I have g i v e n Jericho into your hand, it’s king and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, ALL you men of  w a r…”

These were men of war and instead of fighting how they are used to, with their hands and weapons, they fought by listening to how God said to.

“Walk around the city. Seven times.” Claim your territory. Again, and then again. And again. Day after day.

/remember when they Israelites came into the Promised Land and everything that they WALKED ON was theirs, just given to them. But they had to walk and claim their territory/ Joshua 1:3

Each day they walked around Jericho while blowing their trumpets, declaring out loud the territory they were claiming /not today devil/

      The seventh day they ended in a long horn blow and a l l the men gave a great s h o u t & the wall fell down FLAT. (seriously, picture that ) Come to God in worship and give Him your battles. Listen to Him and do as He tells you, to fight. Declare and claim your territory, the promises God has given you /because His word does not return void/ Isaiah 55:11

Don’t try and fight the battles that aren’t yours to fight. Pray. Worship. Declare. Claim. You fight by worshiping. By listening. Let God fight for you.

Give God r o o m to show Himself faithful.
